Manchester United's American owners are planning to raise around 89 million pounds by selling more of the club on the New York Stock Exchange. A total of 8 million shares, with reduced voting rights, will be up for grabs - that's around 5 percent of the business. It's two months since Malcolm Glazer, who led the family takeover of the club in 2005, died.
A public inquiry into the death of poisoned spy Alexander Litvinenko has been formally opened. The 43-year-old died after drinking tea, laced with radioactive polonium, during a meeting with two Russian men at a London hotel in 2006.
