Manchester United's American owners are planning to raise around 89 million pounds by selling more of the club on the New York Stock Exchange. A total of 8 million shares, with reduced voting rights, will be up for grabs - that's around 5 percent of the business. It's two months since Malcolm Glazer, who led the family takeover of the club in 2005, died.


Trent News

A public inquiry into the death of poisoned spy Alexander Litvinenko has been formally opened. The 43-year-old died after drinking tea, laced with radioactive polonium, during a meeting with two Russian men at a London hotel in 2006. Speaking outside the Royal Courts of Justice, his widow Maria says it's unclear how the Kremlin will respond to the inquiry.

Alicia Keys has revealed she is pregnant with her second child with husband Swizz Beatz - saying "we've been blessed with another angel". The 33-year-old singer posted a picture on Instagram showing off her bump as the couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. They already have a three-year-old son - Egypt Daoud Dean.

Emperor Rosko brought his Atlantic style to BBC Radio 1 in the 1970s and was highly successful. Trent Sound has his new radio programmes 'L A Connection' on Saturdays 14.00 - 16.00 & 'Coast Country' on Sundays 11.00 - 13.00, only on Nottingham's Trent Sound.

Roger Williams presents 'A World of Difference' Mondays 19.00 - 22.00, an eclectic mix of relaxing, unusual and quirky music from around the world. Inspired by John Shaw's 'Here Be Dragons, 'A World of Difference' is a truly unique radio programme and is exclusive to Trent Sound.
