Danny Cox presents “The Retro Chart”, counting down the top thirty best selling single across Nottingham on this day in a year gone by.
Re-live the sound of Radio Trent’s chart show with the man who presented it weekly on both Radio Trent and Trent FM in the 1980s and 1990s.
Danny was the first person to computer compile the chart from sales up to the Saturday night, the chart would then air at noon on Sunday. An accomplished career spanning over twenty five years of TV & radio presentation and production, Danny can claim many firsts in the UK.
He’s responsible for the most successful radio launch in the country, launched the UK’s first city-based terrestrial TV service and was the first person to have his website mentioned in the Sunday Times leader column. He’s in constant demand as a ‘promo’ voice-over, and is currently the voice a number of stations and adverts across the country, he also voices the National Lottery results service.
Danny Cox’s “Retro Chart” can be heard every Monday - Saturday from 12.00 - 13.00.
