Sponsorship on Trent

Trent Sound is pleased to offer sponsorship opportunities for a number of programmes and features within those shows. There is no minimum sponsorship period and we have made our rates very affordable.

Sponsorship opportunities are available throughout the year on our internet broadcast service.

We also offer advertising space on our website in the form of banners, buttons and text links.

We do not broadcast conventional commercial advertisements as they tend to detract from the programming and our research suggests that many people find radio advertisements to be boring and the main reason for tuning away. Instead we offer the chance to sponsor features and programmes.

PROGRAMME SPONSORSHIP:

Advertisers wishing to sponsor a specific programme will have a “voice over” pre-recorded which would say, for example:

“This is Andy Lloyd’s Morning Show brought to you in association with iPC - xBox, PC and laptop repairs in Bulwell - open seven days a week”. *

There are three types of programmes on Trent Sound, these are as follows:

Daytime Weekly Programmes:

Andy Lloyd’s Morning Show (09.00-12.00), Nick Parkhouse’s Afternoon Show (13.00 - 16.00) & Drivetime (16.00 - 18.00), each of these programmes are broadcast Monday - Friday.

Daytime Hourly Programmes:

Danny Cox’s Retro Chart (12.00 - 13.00) & Andy Marriott’s Solid Gold (18.00 - 19.00). The Retro Chart is Broadcast Monday - Saturday & Solid Gold Monday - Friday.

Specialist Programmes:

Trent Sound’s range of specialist programmes are broadcast every weekday evening from 19.00 - 22.00, there are also various other specialist programmes broadcast throughout the week, these include Len Groat’s 70s Sunday, Pure Nostalgia, House Central, The R&B Show, Saturday In The City (Sport), Nottingham LACE (Arts Magazine), The Cabinet of Curiosities & Not On Your Telly.

Sponsors of any “weekly” or “specialist” programme will receive four sponsorship credits per hour (see * above), they will also be credited on the programme page and each programme has a “trailer” which is a pre-recorded advertisement for the programme which is included in other programmes, this trailer will also include a sponsor credit and each trailer will be played 12 times in each 24 hour period.

The fully inclusive rates for Daytime Weekly Programmes is £40 per week, Daytime Hourly Programmes is £30 per week and Specialist Programmes are £20 for 3 hour programmes & £15 for 2-hour programmes.

FEATURE SPONSORSHIP:

Feature sponsorship is used as a pre-recorded announcement which precedes the sponsored item. These include Trent Sound Weather, Trent Sound Sport, Trent Sound Traffic etc. Each of these features is broadcast nine times each weekday. Feature sponsorship costs £25 weekly.

WEBSITE ADVERTISING:

Some websites can look very cluttered with advertising messages which spoil the appearance of the site and serve to confuse customers; to avoid this we are offering a simple advertising option for the website which is a single banner advertisement which runs the full width of the webpage (nominally 25cms x 3cms). There are three options for his banner advertisement it can either appear on the homepage ONLY for £30 per week, on any other single page for £20 per week or on EVERY page across the website for £100 per week.

There are substantial discounts available for advertising blocks of more than for weeks or for multiple webpage banners. There is a setup charge of £20 for professional voice over recording (for programme and/or feature sponsorship) & for website design (for web-page banner advertising).
