WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
Please start by completing a volunteer application form here and return it to Dave Thomas, Trent Sound, 310 Coventry Road, Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 8LU, or email it to info@trentsound.com
- We will arrange to meet with you to discuss your volunteering with Trent Sound.
- We will invite you to come into the station to meet other members of the team, who are all volunteers.
- You will be given an induction and initial training.
- Initially, you will volunteer in the radio station in Bulwell.
- You will be supported by the station manager, the volunteer coordinator and your other volunteer colleagues.
- You will be invited to periodic team meetings and one to one meetings.
- You will make a real difference as part of a team connecting and engaging with listeners in Bulwell, Hucknall and Eastwood, connecting and engaging listeners with their communities through a diverse range of programmes and music, both online and on air.
- You will use your existing skills and have lots of opportunities to develop new ones.
- You will have a great deal of fun.
